On 5 December 2023 the transfer of the Officina 4.0 brand to WDB was completed. The deal brings an established workshop network into the group and, with it, a direct line to the technician.
Continuity at the top
The handover caused no operational break. The network is still led by the same people who built it, and their role has in fact grown: commercial coordination of all WDB group activities, not only of the acquired brand.
It is a choice consistent with the way the group has always worked — skills are added, not replaced — and it meant the workshops in the network noticed no change in their day-to-day dealings.
What Officina 4.0 has become
Today Officina 4.0 is the brand through which the group speaks directly to the individual workshop: the same database, the same fault diagnosis, the same training as the other WDB products, presented under a name made for the people working in the workshop.
