WDB Automotive took part in Autopromotec 2025, the thirtieth international biennial exhibition of automotive equipment and aftermarket, held at BolognaFiere from 21 to 24 May. The stand was in hall 30, stand E64.
Autopromotec is the sector's reference event in Italy and one of the main ones in Europe: four days in which distributors, parts retailers, workshop networks and equipment manufacturers all meet in the same place. For WDB it is an important chance to turn the daily relationship, normally handled by phone and email, into a direct, personal conversation with our customers.
What we brought to the show
The stand was built around the demo stations: technical database, repair procedures, workshop management.
The highlight of the edition was Sema Repair, shown at the exhibition for the first time: the fault case system that starts from the symptom, the code or a description of the problem and leads to a real case already solved by another professional. On the stand it could be tried hands-on at the demo stations.
What we take away
Trade fairs are measured in the months that follow, not in the days they take place. But one thing shows up while they are still on: the questions asked at the stand tell you where the market is under pressure. In 2025 they were automatic transmission servicing, access to data on the newest vehicles, and managing the work in the workshop — three directions our development was already heading in, and which the show confirmed.
